Jen pro info, co jsem k tomuto našel na jednom "foru" - dle všeho se nemuselo jednat o problém s poslední verzí (samotné instalačky nic neobsahují), ale prostě se serverem, který tyhle "adds" servíruje. Navíc lidí, co to reportovali bylo relativně málo, naopak velké množství s tím nemělo problém. Sám jsem byl jedním z těch co update měli velmi brzy a nic takového jsem nezaznamenal.

The µTorrent installer connects with the µTorrent server to ask which adware it should offer to the users. From µTorrent's perspective, this makes sense, because the 'latest' adware can always be offered to the users without having to modify the installer. Or it can do a random (or less random) adware selection of all its partners, without having to bundle everything (it's difficult to say you are micro, if the binary is very large).

Now at some point in time, the reply from the server was malformed or otherwise incorrect, which caused the installer to incorrectly interpret the server reply and simply install epicscale without permission. The very reason nobody, including us, have been able to reproduce the issue, is that the µTorrent server has stopped sending these incorrect replies. So the problem was not tied to any build number, or probably even µTorrent version, but to the µTorrent server to which all installers connect for adware offerings. Of course the installer should still not install anything silently, regardless of the server response, so in that sense the installer was, and still is, very buggy. Basically it grants µTorrent the capability to install literally anything without the user's knowledge or consent.

Having said that, the short-term problem seems to have been fixed, so we have reallowed µTorrent 3.4.2.

Já si nedávno nainstaloval trial verzi MagicISO a v neopatrnosti s ní i tunu adwaru. Pak jsem ztrávil půl dne odinstalováváním :)

BTW: Tahle zpráva už je celkem stará.

V uTorrentu něco hnije asi už delší dobu. Nejeden tracker jeho novější verze zakázal.

jedna sa o build 29xxx a nie nove 3xxxx ako je napisane v nazve clanku...taktiez ziadny problem nemam...ale pri tejto prilezitosti som viac pogoogloval a keby niekto chcel, tak našiel som "navod" ako povypinat tie otravne reklamy http://forum.utorrent.com/topic/81421-321-how-to-turn-off-ads-except-for...
